I completed this trail with my youngest. She loves nature and adventure, but not a fan of distance. After reading the reviews of this trail on AllTrails.com we decided we should bring a garbage bag with to do our part and carry out some trash. We really didn’t think it through well and were so enthusiastic about carrying out the trash we didn’t realize we should have waited until the end of the hike to start picking up the garbage. Sadly, our bag was so heavy from trash within the first 10 minutes. On the positive side, we added some strength resistance to our hike, on the flip side that bag of trash hardly made a dent in what other’s left behind. A kind reminder to pick up after yourself, our kids and someday our grandkids deserve to be able to enjoy this beautiful world.
